Automotive Technology Sales Representative

 We have an immediate opening available for an Automotive Technology Sales Representative. Luminous Software, LLC/Carbase.com (www.carbase.com) an automotive web and data solutions provider is seeking qualified candidates for the position of SALES REPRESENTATIVE.

This is a full-time position responsible for generating B2B sales of CARBASE website and lead generation products to, primarily, auto dealers and related businesses in the region surrounding and including Sioux Falls, SD. Regional travel required with some overnights.

Knowledge of client relations, prospecting and sales to both small business and large corporations is preferred. Automotive sales background is useful in communicating with clients concerning their website and internet sales lead generation. Ideal candidates will possess above average computer skills, familiarity with website design is very useful. Must be able to generate, qualify and process leads by various types of communications from laptop-based equipment for sales prospects.

Candidates considered qualified for the position will possess the following minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • A four year degree is preferred
  • Sales experience in a related field required, with a preference for candidates with established executive level contact experience especially as it relates to B2B, automotive and related industries
  • Must be comfortable with cold calling
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-directed, motivated individual
  • Operates efficiently without constant supervision to attain various sales goals and expectations
  • Website programming, design and graphic art knowledge is an asset, though not required
  • Experienced in selling software helpful
  • Must be experienced in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and database software
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must be able to travel, possess a valid drivers license, some overnights required
  • Experienced and successful in selling and accomplishing sales goals and quotas

Customer Support Help Desk Specialist

 Luminous Software, LLC the regional leader in web based automotive solutions has an opening for a Customer Support & IT Help Desk Specialist in Sioux Falls. Candidates for this position must be able provide support for the day-to-day operations for the company's customer support desk(web based application, some desktop software, hardware, e-mail setup, etc.), including the troubleshooting and resolution of customer requests, trouble-ticket logging, coordination and follow-up communication with customers.

Answering and responding to requests received on the Technicial Support phone lines and e-mail systems; assisting end user's with troubleshooting and installation of the Company's software applications on Windows PC platforms and configuration; provide in-house help desk support for Windows based users including desktop application such as Microsoft Office and Outlook; provide application support, software testing, system backup, maintenance and upgrades as well as troubleshooting and resolving PC, printer issues, software and peripherals problems and perform computer equipment moves, configurations and software installations.

A plus for qualified candidates would be minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an IT department environment, customer service basics. Thorough working knowledge of desktop application software Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Exchange is required. Proven excellent customer service and communication skills are mandatory. Operating system knowledge of but not limited to; Windows 98, 2000, XP. A working knowledge of .ASP and .NET development environments very helpful. Administrative knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, SQL Server, software testing methodologies and standard knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN and firewalls would be helpful. Will perform various other duties, tasks and activities requiring similar levels of knowledge, skills and abilities.

 Info-To-Go Field specialist – providing and servicing pictures and feature information for each vehicle for selected car dealerships. This entails mobile collection of vehicle data using handheld computer and digital camera. Applicant should be self-motivated and enjoy working outside in various weather conditions. Attention to detail, organizational skills, knowledge of vehicles, and good computer skills. Drug free with a good driving record is required. No experience necessary – will provide training.

You will be outside the majority of the time, will need to look and act professional on dealer lots.

Hours are 8am-5pm.
