Job Description


Total Motors is hiring for a sales consultant. Sales consultants are directly responsible for selling new and used vehicles at dealership volume with high customer experience standards.

Primary Job Duties:
• Realize the business is built on customer satisfaction and devote yourself to guaranteeing satisfaction to
customers.
• Greet every individual that enters the facility or drives through the lot.
• Utilize CRM system to encourage repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
• Promote every aspect of the dealership whenever possible – service, parts, financing, insurance, and
warranties.
• Be enthusiastic and maintain a high level of energy.
• Maintain a prospect development system.
• Keep up to date of new products and incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc. and the benefits to
customers.
• Complete and maintain GM Training
• Complete other projects assigned by sales and/or general management.


Desired Education & Qualifications

• High school diploma. Prior participation in various sales training courses and seminars is also desirable.


Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have a strong knowledge of the automobile industry and area market.
• Must have the ability and flexibility to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals.
• Possess great customer relations.
• Be motivated by selling, possess great selling skills, including the ability to “close” the sale.
• Ability to understand profit orientation and financial management.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment (i.e. phone, copiers, fax, printers, etc.)
• Knowledge of computer programs and the essential operation
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong ability to communicate with customers in-person, over the phone and via email
• Proficient in math and calculations
• Must be able to demonstrate exemplary professional behavior in all aspects of the position on and off the
premises.
